identification of unhelpful thinking that has contributed to shame, guilt, or restraint
examination of what is important and how to take relevant action

Person Centered Therapy
Person Centered Therapy emphasizes the importance of the relationship between client and therapist. I show up with authenticity, empathy, and genuineness in hopes of building a solid connection with you to help you address your concerns.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a well established treatment for anxiety, depression, and a variety of mental health concerns. It focuses on the relationship between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to help us challenge unhelpful beliefs.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is an approach that encourages identifying your values and acting in accordance with them. In session, we would discuss accepting what we cannot change and figuring out what is most important to you.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR is a treatment designed to help distressing memories become less emotionally intense through the use of bilateral stimulation, which allows the brain to reprocess “stuck” memories and then store them more appropriately.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of North Carolina, licensed by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (License Number 17807). I am also a Telehealth Registered Professional Counselor for South Carolina (#1978). I am from the Burlington, NC area and serve many clients in Greensboro, Mebane, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, and surrounding areas.
